Summary
We are seeking a Captain / Marine Engineer with hands-on experience in Kamewa waterjet propulsion systems for a private 36m motor yacht. With hands on operational and mechanical experience in Kamewa waterjet propulsion systems (fast ferries, patrol craft, high-performance yachts, or commercial jet vessels).
The role involves knowledge of recommissioning propulsion systems, inspecting and preparing underwater mechanical interfaces, and replacing jet-control feedback cables and hoses. You will manage contractors and oversee yard work while ensuring the vessel operates efficiently. Ideal candidates will possess direct hands-on experience with Kamewa systems and MTU engines, along with strong hydraulic and diagnostic skills. Excellent communication and the ability to work independently are essential. This seasonal position offers the opportunity to engage in ongoing systems oversight within a dynamic marine environment.
Captain (100Ton or greater) Operate vessel for SF Bay cruising + coastal routes. Deliver yacht to Ensenada, Cabo, Costa Rica if desired. Oversee charter compliance for occasional day charters. Manage safety, training and maintenance logs.
