Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced, confident, and highly organized Captain to lead the vessel, ensure safe operations, and maintain an outstanding guest experience. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator who inspires professionalism, fosters a positive onboard culture, and can successfully manage a dynamic program.
Key Responsibilities
- Full command and safe navigation of the vessel at all times
- Lead and mentor a crew of 13 to maintain a high-performing team
- Oversee all yacht operations, maintenance, budgeting, and compliance
- Manage ISM/ISPS and all flag/state regulations
- Maintain excellent communication with the owner/management company
- Ensure first-class guest service and seamless itinerary execution
- Coordinate yard periods, refits, surveys, and long-term maintenance planning
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum Master 3000GT License (or equivalent)
- Proven experience as Captain on yachts 45m+
- Previous Charter experience in the Caribbean and the Bahamas.
- Solid knowledge of international maritime regulations
- Exceptional leadership, crew management, and communication skills
- Professional, calm, guest-focused demeanor
- Non-smoker / no visible tattoos [if required by program]
