Summary
Burgess Recruitment is currently seeking a 2nd Steward(ess) for a 55m private/charter motor yacht.
This is a key interior position suited to a candidate with strong longevity, exceptional service ability, and the confidence to lead by example. The ideal individual will bring professionalism, warmth, and a detail-driven approach, supporting the Chief Stewardess while delivering an outstanding guest experience.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in the yachting industry
- Strong service background, cocktails, wine knowledge, and silver service highly desirable
- Excellent organisational skills with a proactive, detail-oriented mindset
- Professional, positive, and team-focused attitude
- Valid Schengen visa required (boat papers can be provided if needed)
- B1/B2 visa preferred but not essential
- Fully STCW-compliant with valid ENG1 and all certificates in date
Start: 11 December
Location: Italy
Salary: EUR 5200+
Leave: 3:1 rotation
Package: 13th-month bonus after 1 year of service, Salary review after successful 3-month probation. Charter tips: 50% during probation; equal share thereafter
Itinerary: Genoa, Italy for the winter refit. Med season
