Chief Officer/1st Mate in France

Summary

We are seeking for an chief officer/1st late for a permanent position on board a 40m Motor Yacht.

The ideal candidate will have their OOW or be close to completing it.

About the Yacht:

• 40m Motor Yacht
• Crew of 9 (3 on deck)
• Completing 10 year survey early 2026
• Chase Boat
• Busy charter yacht
• Based in the SOF
• Salary DOE

We are looking for someone with:

• Good leadership and organizing skills
• Excellent communication and team work abilities
• Mini ISM/ Full ISM knowledge
• Experience holding Navigational watches
• Passage planning and chart corrections
• Excellent Yacht maintenance knowledge and skills
• Jet Drive and Outboard engine knowledge

Start date is early January.

Essential Qualifications

Entry Level Qualifications (or equivalent)

• ENG 1 (Medical Certificate)
• Drivers License
• STCW 95 (STCW 2010)

Master/Skipper Qualifications (or Merchant, USCG & AMSA equivalent)

• RYA Yachtmaster Offshore

RYA/MCA Deck Modules (OR Short Courses & equivalent)

• General Ship Knowledge (OOW Yachts)
