Temporary Head Chef - Private 55m Support Yacht
We are looking for a Temporary Head Chef to join a private support vessel. The role focuses on delivering high-quality meals for a crew of 12, with occasional support for guest bread and food service if needed
Start date: ASAP - 6 weeks
Itinerary: Caribbean
Salary: Highly competitive, paid in Euros
Experience & attributes required:
- Prepare varied, healthy meals for crew
- Assist with guest food and bread preparation as needed
- Manage galley operations, inventory, and hygiene to the highest standards
- Maintain kitchen equipment and report any operational or safety issues
- Energetic, creative, detail-oriented, and team-focused
- Minimum 1 year yachting experience; professional kitchen background preferred
Qualifications required:
- STCW (fully updated)
- Seafarer's Medical Certificate (valid 6+ months)
- Culinary Certificate and Food Safety & Hygiene Level 2 Certificate
- Ships Cook Certificate and Seaman's Discharge Book preferred
- B1/B2
