Summary

Temporary Head Chef - Private 55m Support Yacht

We are looking for a Temporary Head Chef to join a private support vessel. The role focuses on delivering high-quality meals for a crew of 12, with occasional support for guest bread and food service if needed


Start date: ASAP - 6 weeks

Itinerary: Caribbean

Salary: Highly competitive, paid in Euros 


Experience & attributes required:

  • Prepare varied, healthy meals for crew
  • Assist with guest food and bread preparation as needed
  • Manage galley operations, inventory, and hygiene to the highest standards
  • Maintain kitchen equipment and report any operational or safety issues
  • Energetic, creative, detail-oriented, and team-focused
  • Minimum 1 year yachting experience; professional kitchen background preferred

Qualifications required:

  • STCW (fully updated)
  • Seafarer's Medical Certificate (valid 6+ months)
  • Culinary Certificate and Food Safety & Hygiene Level 2 Certificate
  • Ships Cook Certificate and Seaman's Discharge Book preferred
  • B1/B2
