Summary
Seeking a good, responsible, reliable, reputable, solid, professional Captain, experienced with "term charters" to run this charter yacht new to the Blue Oceans charter fleet, operating in the Caribbean this winter and New England area next summer.
We are looking for experience not really with day charters, but weekly, term charters, which requires experience tracking guest APA expenditure, communicating with Charter Brokers, and delivering high end luxury experiences with guests on board up to a full week.
Captain must enjoy hosting guests and sharing their experience in the Caribbean, Bahamas, and New England area.
Captain needs to have at least 2-3 years experience running this size vessel to appease the insurance carrier.
The boat is 87', US Flagged, and heading to the Bahamas ASAP to hopefully pick up a holiday charter due to a last minute charter inquiry or a charter cancellation, then after the new year, will head to the Caribbean for the winter season, basing out of either St. Maarten, St. Thomas, or BVI. New England Summer 2026. There is already one week booked mid February out of St. Maarten.
The Owners anticipate only 6-8 weeks charter per year and 8-10 weeks personal use, so not high volume, but high quality. Vessel is in Fort Lauderdale now, is new to our charter fleet, and will run with a Mate/Engineer, Stewardess, and Chef. She also tows a 23' 2024 Cobia Center Console.
