Summary
Position: Rotational Chief Officer (Candidates must be based within Europe.)
This role is open to both male and female candidates who meet the required qualifications and experience.
We are looking for a capable and motivated Chief Officer to join our deck team. The vessel is currently on the market for sale, however we are fully operational. The ideal candidate should have experience in a similar role on yachts of comparable size, with strong navigation and safety management skills. Leadership qualities are essential, along with excellent organisational and administrative abilities, combined with a hands-on approach. The right person will be well presented, respectful, and confident taking on a wide range of responsibilities. You will be working with a deck team made up of a Second Officer, Bosun, and six Deckhands.
Experience:
· Solid experience as Chief Officer on similar-sized vessels
· Strong knowledge of ISM and ISPS
· Proactive and confident attitude towards safety management
· Great communication and leadership skills, with a focus on team training and development
· Forward-thinking, adaptable, and able to maintain high standards
Key Responsibilities:
· Serve as Safety Officer
· Alternate Security Officer
Bridge & Equipment:
· Raytheon Synapsis ECDIS
· Fully paperless bridge
Qualifications:
· Chief Mate 3000GT as a minimum
· SSO
· Raytheon Synapsis Type Specific ECDIS
· Cayman Island Endorsement
Package:
· Time-for-time rotation (8 weeks on / 8 weeks off)
· Single cabin
· €8,000 per month
