Summary
100m+ Private yacht is looking for a 3rd Officer with a minimum of 6 months single-handed watch keeping experience and at least 1 year as Bosun or Lead Deckhand on board a 70m+ M/Y. The 3rd Officer will be responsible for assisting the Chief Officer in the overall management and operation of the vessel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting the Chief Officer in the day-to-day management of the deck department.
- Supervising and training of crew in all departments.
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and procedures.
- Maintaining the vessel's navigational equipment and systems.
- Conducting regular safety drills and exercises.
- Maintaining accurate records of the vessel's movements and operations.
- Assisting with the maintenance and upkeep of the vessel's exterior areas.
You must be confident with all aspects of exterior maintenance and confident in manoeuvring and handling of both jet and propeller driven, single and twin engine water craft of all sizes. Experience in water sports, fishing and diving would be an advantage.
Itinerary: Extremely busy worldwide cruising
Salary: TBC depending on experience
Leave: 182.5 days/year
