Role: House Manager
Salary: $130,000 per annum (DOE)
Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week with flexibility when Principals are in residence
Location: Washington, D.C. (Accommodation available for live-in or live-out)

Overview and Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced and highly professional House Manager to oversee the daily operations, maintenance, and service standards of multiple private residences across the United States. The role is based in Washington, D.C., with travel to properties in New York and Minnesota to ensure each home is consistently maintained and ready for the Principals’ arrivals.
This is a hands-on position requiring exceptional organizational skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to maintain a polished, discreet, and efficient household environment.
Key Responsibilities
Household & Property Management
- Oversee daily operations and general upkeep of residences in Washington, D.C., New York, and Minnesota.
- Serve as the main point of contact for vendors, contractors, and service professionals.
- Manage routine, preventative, and seasonal maintenance schedules.
- Ensure all homes are guest-ready, organized, and maintained to luxury standards.
- Monitor and replenish household supplies, inventories, and special requests.
Administrative & Financial Oversight
- Manage household budgets, expenses, and petty cash.
- Track and report expenditures accurately.
- Maintain household manuals, vendor records, maintenance logs, and schedules.
Family Support & Hospitality
- Provide high-level service and support when Principals are in residence.
- Oversee packing, unpacking, and seamless transitions between residences.
- Coordinate small gatherings, events, or in-home service appointments.
Additional Duties
- Occasional driving support for Principals or guests, as needed (minimal).
- Travel between properties based on the Principals’ schedules.
Candidate Requirements
- Prior experience in private service, luxury hospitality, or estate/household management.
- Strong hands-on approach, with excellent attention to detail.
- Adaptable, discreet, and comfortable with changing schedules and travel.
- Exceptional organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Strong, verifiable references.
- Willingness to live-in or live-out (accommodation available in Washington, D.C.).
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $130,000 per annum (DOE).
