Summary
We are seeking a qualified 2nd Engineer to join this new build 55 metre vessel, arriving shortly to the UAE for the Winter, with the intention of heading to the Med for the Summer season. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting the Chief Engineer in the maintenance and operation of the vessel's machinery and systems, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards. Key responsibilities include routine inspections, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues, and performing preventive maintenance on all engineering equipment.
Candidates should possess relevant engineering qualifications and experience on similar-sized vessels, with a strong understanding of marine engineering principles. This role requires effective communication skills, teamwork, and the ability to work under pressure in a dynamic environment. To be considered, you must hold as a minimum EOOW and have proven experience as an engineer on similar size (45 – 65m) motor yachts .
The package on offer is Euro 6,500 and 90 days leave, joining date is upon vessel arrival in the UAE in the next few weeks, so candidate must be available immediately.
