Location: Western Europe
A 70m+ private motor yacht, active in both private cruising and occasional charters, is seeking a motivated and professional male Deckhand. Extensive experience on large yachts is not essential; however, candidates must hold a Divemaster certification and be ready to assist with occasional dive operations. This role suits someone energetic, eager to learn, and confident working within a busy and professional deck team.
The yacht follows a global itinerary with regular guest trips, tender operations, and varied water-based activities. The vessel is currently in a long-term shipyard period until Spring 2026.
Key Requirements:
• Divemaster certification (essential)
• Some prior deck experience (yachting or relevant maritime/boats background beneficial)
• Confident with basic tender handling and deck maintenance
• Proactive, self-motivated, and reliable
• Professional and well-groomed appearance
• Passion for outdoor and water-based activities
Required Certifications & Qualifications:
• European residency or EU passport
• STCW (all basic modules)
• PDSD
• Valid ENG1 or Seafarer Medical
• PB2 or higher
• No visible tattoos
• PWC Instructor – advantage
• Dive Instructor certification – bonus
