Summary
Looking for a First Officer for a 164 Westport. Long shipyard period ending around March 2026 and boat needs to get back into shape. Strong watersports essential, diving/surfing/kitesurfing all highly regarded. Not rotational and will not become rotational. YM Offshore minimum, anything more a bonus. 80% on deck and 20 % paperwork, this is not an office job at all. Itinerary will be Caribbean, then Panama canal for cruising Panama/Costa Rica from summer onwards and into winter, after that unknown. Must be expert with towed 37ft, able to lead the deck team and teach others when required. Great, generous US owners, previously very successful charter yacht, looking to become that again. Start time is flexible in January sometime. Anyone available to interview in person in Lauderdale would be advantageous. Experienced Bosun stepping up will be considered, absolute non smoker, fit and healthy is a must.
