Job Overview
Experienced Captain/Engineer required for a well-maintained 24m private motor yacht operating throughout the Mediterranean. The role combines safe navigation with hands-on technical management of all onboard systems. You will lead a small, stable crew and ensure smooth operations and a relaxed, high-quality experience for the owners and their guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Safe navigation, routing, mooring & anchoring
- Daily engineering checks and maintenance (engines, gensets, AC, hydraulics, watermaker)
- Crew management (Stew/Cook + Deckhand)
- Guest service coordination, tender driving & watersports safety
- Logistics: marina bookings, fuel/water bunkering, port paperwork
- Budget oversight, logbook, maintenance records
Requirements
- Yachtmaster Offshore (Commercial) or equivalent
- Proven experience as Captain on 18–30m yachts
- Strong engineering knowledge on small yachts
- Good knowledge of Med cruising grounds
- Professional, discreet, guest-focused attitude
- Team player with leadership skills
