Summary

We need the ETO to be able to work with typical PC problems, networks, firewall, bandwidth management, backups, antivirus, KNX lighting, etc. We need them to be reasonably capable with electrics. Simple wiring fault finding and comfortable with all aspects of electrical safety.   AV system fault finding is important, but a good knowledge of IT and electrical fault finding provides the abilities necessary to fix AV issue. The ETO shares a cabin with the 2nd officer.We are a charter boat. This summer we did 11 weeks of charter and are headed to the Caribbean with more charters close to signing.

Experienced candidate who will be ready to take on position after handover and soon after work on charters close to signing up.

Entry Level Qualifications (or equivalent)
  • STCW 95 (STCW 2010)
  • ENG 1 (Medical Certificate)
STCW Modules (or Merchant, USCG & AMSA equivalent)
  • Advanced Fire Fighting (A-VI/3)
  • Proficiency in Medical First Aid (A-VI/4 1-3)
  • Proficiency in Survival Craft & Rescue Boats (PSCRB) (A-VI/2 1-4)
