Summary
90m Private Motor Yacht looking for an experienced 2nd Officer to join the team for a 2 month contract starting the 24th November (no later). This does have the possibility of going to time for time rotation for the right candidate.
You must have minimum 1 year experience on a Charter, fast paced yacht 70m or above as a 2nd Officer. This is a busy guest trips yacht in season!
Contract will initially be for 2 months in a shipyard environment and you will be responsible for the following:
- All LSA/FFE daily, weekly and monthly checks
- Day to day managing of the Deck team of 6.
- Creating and executing maintenance worklists
- Must be proficient in Awlgrip Painting and general tasks, you will be teaching junior crew
- Bridge procedures including Chart corrections and general tasks
- Planning and executing weekly Drills and Safety related training for the crew
- Boosting good crew moral onboard- This is not a party yacht.
You must have held your OOW/Chief Mate for at least 2 years with coastal watchkeeping experience.
