Summary
We are seeking a Captain for a Northern European–built 40-metre yacht.
The yacht is returning to Europe after an extended period in other parts of the world.
Applicants should ideally have a minimum of three to five years’ experience as Captain on another yacht and hold, as a minimum qualification, a Master (Yachts) <500 GT certificate.
In addition to being fluent in English, candidates should have a basic knowledge of German.
The yacht operates seasonally, for private use only, mainly in the Mediterranean, with the option of one or two Caribbean seasons.
This is a full-time position offering up to 90 days of annual leave. The salary is competitive, and a performance- and longevity-based bonus scheme is in place.
This is an excellent opportunity to work for a great family offering stability and loyalty to the right candidate. The previous Captain left after a long period of service to pursue a career change.
A Captain couple would also be considered.
