Summary

We are seeking a Chief Engineer to oversee the engineering operations on a 44m vessel, ensuring optimal performance and safety standards are met. This rotational position requires a hands-on leader responsible for managing the engineering department, conducting regular maintenance, and troubleshooting technical issues. The Chief Engineer will ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and implement best practices for equipment management and vessel operations. Candidates should possess a strong background in marine engineering, with relevant certifications and experience in managing engine room operations on similar vessels. Effective communication and problem-solving skills are essential, along with the ability to work collaboratively within a diverse team. This role demands a proactive approach to preventing equipment failures and ensuring the vessel remains in peak operational condition. Winter will be spent in Gocek, Turkey with a short yard period in the spring before a busy Med season kicks off.
