Working Hours: Full day (approximately 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM)

We are seeking an experienced Private Chef to prepare and serve a traditional British Christmas lunch for a private family gathering on Christmas Day. The role requires someone confident, personable, and highly organised, with the ability to deliver classic, home-style festive cuisine in a relaxed, family-oriented setting.

Responsibilities
- Plan, shop for, and prepare a traditional British Christmas meal, including canapés, a full traditional british turkey lunch with all the trimmings, and desserts.
- Manage all aspects of kitchen preparation and cooking on the day.
- Provide family-style service, plating and serving each course to the table.
- Maintain a tidy and organised kitchen throughout service and ensure proper clean-down after the meal.
- Liaise with the client in advance to confirm menu details, timings, and kitchen facilities.
- Able to conduct a kitchen visit prior to Christmas Day to scope facilities and ensure readiness.
Menu Expectations
- Canapés (served on arrival)
- Traditional British Christmas lunch, including:
- Roast turkey with stuffing and trimmings
- Seasonal vegetables and accompaniments
- Desserts – traditional Christmas desserts
- No decorative or overly fussy plating required – focus on quality, flavour, and presentation suitable for family dining.

- 6 children (included within total guest count)

Candidate Requirements
- Proven experience as a Private Chef or Event Chef in high-end households or hospitality settings is preferred.
- Must be confident preparing and serving large family-style festive meals.
- Professional, personable, and discreet.
- Minimum several years of experience – not a recent graduate.
- Able to work independently and manage time efficiently.
- Must be available for a pre-event kitchen visit prior to Christmas Day.
