Private Chef – Christmas Day Booking

Location: Private Residence - Mallorca

Date: Christmas Day

Working Hours: Full day (approximately 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM)

Rate: 1,500 EUR (inclusive of food costs)

 

We are seeking an experienced Private Chef to prepare and serve a traditional British Christmas lunch for a private family gathering on Christmas Day. The role requires someone confident, personable, and highly organised, with the ability to deliver classic, home-style festive cuisine in a relaxed, family-oriented setting.

 

Responsibilities

• Plan, shop for, and prepare a traditional British Christmas meal, including canapés, a full traditional british turkey lunch with all the trimmings, and desserts.
• Manage all aspects of kitchen preparation and cooking on the day.
• Provide family-style service, plating and serving each course to the table.
• Maintain a tidy and organised kitchen throughout service and ensure proper clean-down after the meal.
• Liaise with the client in advance to confirm menu details, timings, and kitchen facilities.
• Able to conduct a kitchen visit prior to Christmas Day to scope facilities and ensure readiness.

Menu Expectations

• Canapés (served on arrival)
• Traditional British Christmas lunch, including:
• Roast turkey with stuffing and trimmings
• Seasonal vegetables and accompaniments
• Desserts – traditional Christmas desserts
• No decorative or overly fussy plating required – focus on quality, flavour, and presentation suitable for family dining.

Guest Details

• Approx. 14–20 guests
• 6 children (included within total guest count)
• No specific dietary requirements confirmed at this stage.

Candidate Requirements

• Proven experience as a Private Chef or Event Chef in high-end households or hospitality settings is preferred.
• Must be confident preparing and serving large family-style festive meals.
• Professional, personable, and discreet.
• Minimum several years of experience – not a recent graduate.
• Able to work independently and manage time efficiently.
• Must be available for a pre-event kitchen visit prior to Christmas Day.
