Summary
We are looking for a OOW Unlimited 2nd Officer for a 85m+ Private Motor Yacht
This role suits a practical experienced Officer seeking to grow within a professional, compliance-driven program. We are particularly interested in individuals with hands-on experience, sound judgment, and a dependable, conscientious attitude.
This role is an immediate start in Europe - Ideally by the 11th November at the latest
Key Requirements
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as OOW unlimited on vessels over 70m
- Preferably progressed via the experience
- Previous commercial or shore-based maritime experience advantageous
- Strong working knowledge of bridge systems, navigation procedures, and passage planning
- Familiarity with ISM, ISPS, and vessel safety operations
- Helicopter operations experience – HLO certification highly preferred
- Must hold B1/B2 visa and a Schengen passport or visa
Primary Responsibilities
- Act as Navigating Officer
- Maintain and update charts and publications (both paper and electronic)
- Prepare and complete passage plans in coordination with the Bridge Team
- Assist with PMS, FFA, and LSA checklists are current
- Support helicopter operations, liaising with Flight Ops for flight schedules, refuelling, and permissions
