2nd Engineer in France

Summary

West Nautical are seeking a talented, enthusiastic, no dramas, experienced 2nd Engineer for a prestigious 80m M/Y.

She is a recent new build, multi cultural close knit crew with an exciting dual season itinerary.

The yacht is private & charter.

Previous experience in this role on a similar size vessel, is essential.

Cayman Flag.

Rotation 2:2 salary $9,000.

Start date 25th Nov 2025.

Must have Y2 or Y3 with engine manufacturers qualification.

You will be working with a Chief Engineer & AV/IT in your team.

Qualifications/Requirements:

Y2 (Unlimited) or Y3

STCW, ENG1

Engine Manufacturers Course

Non smoker, no visible tattoos.

Essential Qualifications

Entry Level Qualifications (or equivalent)

• STCW 95 (STCW 2010)
• ENG 1 (Medical Certificate)
• Drivers License

Engineering Qualifications (or Merchant, USCG & AMSA equivalent)

• MCA Approved Engine Course (AEC 1 & 2) Certificate
• MCA Marine Engine Operator License (Y)
• 2nd Engineer III/2 (SV) (<3000gt <9000kW)
• RIII/2 2nd Engineer (Unlimited)
