Position: Temporary Captain
Vessel: 38m Motor Yacht
Location: Caribbean (Winter Season)
Contract: Seasonal (22 November - 28 Feb 2026)
Start Date: ASAP / Flexible
Salary: 10,000 euros pm
We are seeking an experienced and professional temporary Captain for a privately owned 38m motor yacht for the upcoming Caribbean season. The vessel is well-maintained, with a strong crew and needs a hands-on Captain.
Requirements:
- Minimum Master 500GT (or equivalent)
- Proven experience as Captain on similar-sized yachts
- Strong leadership and crew management skills
- Excellent navigational and operational knowledge of Caribbean waters
- English fluency required
- Preference given to British candidates, as per owner’s request
Responsibilities include:
- Safe navigation and operation of the vessel
- Oversight of all yacht maintenance and systems
- Leadership and mentoring of crew
- Guest satisfaction and service oversight
- Compliance with all maritime regulations and procedures
