Temp Deckhand – Motor Yacht (Savannah → Miami → St Maarten)
We are seeking a temporary Deckhand to join a private motor yacht for a short-term passage from Savannah to Miami, followed by the onward delivery to St Maarten.
Position: Temporary Deckhand
Dates: 31 October to 9 November
Location: Join in Savannah, USA – finish in St Maarten
Requirements:
- Valid STCW Basic Safety Training and ENG 1
- Previous deck experience preferred (wash downs, lines/fenders, watch duties)
- Confident tender handling and basic maintenance skills an advantage
- Must be active, professional, and a good fit with an experienced, hands-on crew
Duties include:
- Exterior maintenance and wash downs
- Line and fender handling during docking
- Lookout during passage
- Deck preparation and general assistance to permanent crew
- Travel: Flights and accommodation provided if required
