We are seeking a first mate for a 43m private, single-season commercial luxury motor yacht cruising the Mediterranean. Mainly France and Italy. Charter and Private
Requirements:
Minimum qualification: MCA OOW 3000 or equivalent We will Accept Yacht master for a candidate with strong skills and experience combined with longevity
Newly qualified OOWs will be considered if they demonstrate the right attitude and experience. Longevity is important
5+ years’ yachting experience, with solid references, Must show some longevity in previous positions min having stayed for the entire summer season in each position
Strong leadership and communication skills — managing 2 deck crew - must be willing to be hands on and help on deck
Some understanding of Mini ISM / ISM procedures. We run mini ISM on board and operate weekly and monthly checks etc
Excellent deck maintenance skills, navigational watch and bridge ability must be high, tender-handling skills. 1 x Castoldi jet tender 8m , 1 x rescue tender, 1 x jet ski high power.
Fluent English required by owners preference British national, Owners preference no Russian speaking crew.

Contract: Permanent, Standard MLC contract. IOM flag
Package: Salary 6000 pcm + standard benefits 60 days leave PA
