Seasonal contract

The preference is for a captain with good charter experience in the Caribbean.

The ideal candidate would have strong leadership skills, good seamanship knowledge, and excellent ship handling skills.

Vessel will be cruising in the Bahamas and Caribbean islands before heading over to the Med for the summer.

Knowledge of ISM, ISPS, ECDIS and regulatory compliance required.

Nice mix of active mulitinational crew on board.

Salary is dependent on experience, and will be discussed during interview process.

Essential Qualifications

Entry Level Qualifications (or equivalent)

• Drivers License
• STCW 95 (STCW 2010)
• ENG 1 (Medical Certificate)

Master/Skipper Qualifications (or Merchant, USCG & AMSA equivalent)

• MCA CoC Master <3000gt / Class 4

STCW Modules (or Merchant, USCG & AMSA equivalent)

• Proficiency in Survival Craft & Rescue Boats (PSCRB) (A-VI/2 1-4)
• Human, Element, Leadership & Management (Management)
• GMDSS General Operators Certificate (GOC)
• Electronic Chart Display (ECDIS)
• Advanced Fire Fighting (A-VI/3)
• Proficiency in Medical Care

Specialised Security Courses

• Proficiency as Ship Security Officer (SSO) (A-VI/5)
