Burgess recruitment is currently seeking a Deckhand for a 50m yacht
Requirements
- Minimum Yacht rating and PbL2
- B1B2 essential
- Yachtmaster and AEC a plus
- Experience: At least one or two seasons of experience in a similar role. Candidates should have proven tender driving skills and be comfortable operating a variety of tenders in different conditions.
- Additional Skills: Candidates with strong communication skills, a proactive attitude, and the ability to work well within a team are highly valued. Safety-conscious individuals with a strong work ethic will be given preference.
Skills
- Proficient in tender driving and familiar with its operations.
- Jet tender driving experience
- Charter experience
- Excellent yacht maintenance skills with a hands-on approach.
Responsibilities
- Overseeing the general upkeep and maintenance of the yacht's deck.
- Safely handling the yacht's tender and watersports equipment.
- Assisting with guest activities during charters, including watersports.
- Collaborating closely with other deckhands and ensuring teamwork in daily operations.
- Supporting the deck team and assisting with crew leadership.
- The vessel travels with a 40ft triple outboard tender so excellent tender driving skills.

Salary: USD 3500
Leave: 3:1 rotation
