Summary
We are currently looking for a full time Third engineer to join a world cruising 68m private motor yacht.
Please only apply if you have a B1/B2 in hand, have your interview booked in the next 2 weeks or are an American/Canadian citizen
Start date: November 10th.
Experience: Tickets not as important as experience and being a good listener, Ideally some engine room experience, trade backgrounds considered. Mechanically interested.
Boat does most big projects in house so not looking for someone to sit behind a laptop all day.
Itinerary: Just finished an Alaskan season, Caribbean for the winter.
Visas: B1/B2 or American Citizen required.
Certificates: STCW, ENG1 or equivalent.
Boat: 68m Feadship, private vessel with outstanding longevity for crew and excellent owners. 17 crew total.
Learning from 2 longstanding rotating chief engineers and 2 rotating 2nd engineers.
Package: Salary to be discussed with Captain
Incredible bonus program starting at 20% of base pay, paid every 6 months. Increasing annually by 5% capping at 40%.
1 week paid training after first year, increasing by one week every year until year 4
Travel allowance paid after first year, increasing every year until year 5
1 months leave
