We are looking for an experienced, diligent, and highly motivated Deckhand to join a 60-meter motor yacht with a dynamic, adventure-driven itinerary. This vessel operates on a truly global schedule with a strong emphasis on diving, fishing, and off-the-beaten-path exploration, ideal for a hands-on crew member with an adventurous spirit. Unlike many other opportunities, this yacht genuinely travels the world, visiting some of the most unique and remote destinations on the map.
Position Details
- Position: Deckhand
- Yacht Size: 60 meters
- Program: Private
- Itinerary: Worldwide – remote locations, diving hotspots, and fishing destinations.
- Start Date: First week of December.
- Contract Type: Full-time
Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone with:
- Candidates based in South Pacific region preferred. Australian and New Zealand candidates preferred.
- 1–3 years of experience on similar-sized vessels. Unfortunately we are not able to consider junior deckhands for this one.
- Strong deck and maintenance skills, including: Broad product knowledge, proficiency in routine maintenance, paint preparation and application, gelcoat work, experience spraying metallic paint and clear coat, carpentry and joinery skills.
- A keen interest or background in diving, fishing, and adventure travel.
- Team player with a can-do attitude and a passion for the outdoors
- Dive certification and sports fishing experience highly desirable
- YM offshore ideally.
