First Mate Position on a 34m Performance Sailing Yacht
We're seeking an experienced First mate to join a 34m performance sailing yacht. This is a full-time position based in Mallorca for the winter with a summer charter season throughout the Mediterranean.
Start Date: October 2025
Minimum Qualifications: YM Offshore, AEC 1 & 2, STCW, ENG1
We're looking for a candidate who is:
- Energetic and physically fit, ready to bring a positive attitude and high energy to the team.
- Very experienced sailor with a valid understanding of and respect for modern performance sailing yachts.
- Very comfortable holding solo night watches, navigation and experienced driving tenders and leading water sports.
- A resourceful problem-solver with a strong knowledge of deck equipment, rigging and sail handling
- A dedicated team player who is willing to assist wherever needed.
- Highly organised and meticulous in their work.
- Honest, respectful, and loyal, with a strong work ethic.
The role is demanding, involving long charter days on deck during the summer and a focused deck maintenance schedule in the winter.
