Mate – Private 25m S/Y
We are looking for an experienced Mate, a true sailor at heart, ideally joining as part of a couple with a Stew/Cook, for a seasonal position aboard a beautiful 25m private sailing yacht based in Mallorca. The vessel is preparing for the Caribbean season, with the possibility of becoming a permanent position for the right candidate.
Start date: 1 November
Itinerary: Mallorca – Caribbean
Package: Salary paid in Euros, leave included
Experience/Skills required:
• Minimum 2 seasons’ experience as Mate on sailing yachts
• Strong sailing background with solid sea miles, including Atlantic crossings
• Confident with deck operations, maintenance, and navigation
• Hands-on attitude and good teamwork spirit
• Ideally a couple with a Stew/Cook comfortable in galley and interior duties
Qualifications required:
• Yachtmaster Offshore (minimum)
• STCW (fully updated)
• Seafarer's Medical Certificate (ENG1)
• Seaman’s Discharge Book (preferred)
