Chief Officer/1st Mate in Spain

Summary

Burgess recruitment is currently seeking a Chief Officer for a 60m yacht.

 

We are seeking a seasoned and well experienced Chief Officer to join a great team on board a busy private/charter vessel.

 

Requirements & Responsibilities

·       Chief Officer 3000/ Master 3000

·       All certs up to date

·       Minimum 3 years as chief officer on 50m+ vessels

·       Charter experience essential

·      Proficiency of Medical person onboard, SSO and all the other required certs

·       Strong knowledge of ISM, ISPS, navigation and watchkeeping

·       Excellent tender driver with chase boats

·       Strong knowledge of deck maintenance and repairs to assist and oversee the Bosun and Deck Department

·       Comfortable with daily, weekly, and monthly checks

·       B1/B2 visa in hand

Location:  Spain

Salary: EUR 7000+ DOE

• ENG 1 (Medical Certificate)
