2nd Engineer in France

Summary

Looking for an experienced Y4/III1 engineer to join 44m steel hull explorer style motor yacht for Atlantic crossing. Departing Gibraltar towards SXM likely in the 1st week of November 2025.

Ticket needed for Safe Manning, you would be operating as 2nd engineer alongside our full-time Chief Engineer.

Experience with CAT engines/gens and regular hotel systems, possibility you would also be used to help the deck team if required and maybe be a lookout during night hours.

NOT a full time position, simply crossing from Gib-SXM...return flight to Europe optional.

Essential Qualifications

Entry Level Qualifications (or equivalent)

• STCW 95 (STCW 2010)
• ENG 1 (Medical Certificate)
• Drivers License

Engineering Qualifications (or Merchant, USCG & AMSA equivalent)

• RIII/3 Y4 Chief Engineer (<200gt <1500kW)/ EOOW III/1 (SV) (<3000gt <9000kW)
