Captain / Engineer – Falcon 92
Location: Currently in Sardinia (relocating to San Remo / Imperia post-refit)
Start Date:November/December 2026
We are seeking a hands-on Captain with strong engineering skills to take command of M/Y , a privately operated Falcon 92. The ideal candidate will be technically competent, proactive, and capable of taking ownership of the vessel through her upcoming engine rebuild and subsequent relocation to the Ligurian coast.
About the Vessel:
- 28m Falcon 92
- Private use only
- Currently in Sardinia
- Scheduled main engine rebuild in January 2026
- Planned relocation to San Remo / Imperia upon completion
Profile Sought:
- Experienced Captain (minimum Master 200GT or equivalent)
- Strong mechanical and technical knowledge — confident in overseeing engine and systems works
- Proven ability to manage refit or maintenance periods
- Self-motivated and organised, able to work independently
- Fluent English (Italian or French an advantage)
Responsibilities:
- Oversee engine rebuild and related yard period
- Manage vessel readiness, safety, and maintenance records
- Liaise with shipyard, contractors, and management
- Operate the yacht safely and efficiently once cruising resumes
