Summary

Deckhand – Private 35m (Bahamas-Based)

We’re looking for a hands-on, professional Deckhand to join a busy private program with occasional charters.

The vessel is based year-round in the Bahamas, with scheduled yard periods in Florida twice a year. The role requires someone who is mature, self-motivated, and takes pride in their work. While the daily routine in the marina is structured and steady, guest trips require a flexible, can-do approach and a focus on safety and service.

This is not a party boat — the crew is experienced, respectful, and the vessel is located in a quiet marina. The position would best suit someone who enjoys a peaceful lifestyle, values their downtime, and can stay productive and positive without needing a big social scene.

We maintain the yacht to exceptionally high standards, and are looking for a team member who shares that commitment. A willingness to learn, work hard, and uphold a professional attitude is essential.

Requirements:

  • Tender driving and fishing experience
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Strong work ethic and team mentality
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • If non-US citizen, then a B1/B2, green card or right to work in the USA is essential - You will not be considered without this
  • Provide a cover letter to be considered

We’re happy to invest in the right person who shows dedication and potential. Please only apply if you’re serious about developing your skills and contributing to a professional, close-knit team.

Package:

  • Managed vessel with SEA provided
  • 38 days paid leave per year
  • Medical coverage
  • One annual return flight (economy)
  • 3-month probation period

If you’re looking for a stable program, a professional atmosphere, and a quieter setting in the Bahamas, this could be the perfect fit.
