Summary
We are seeking an experienced Sole Engineer to join a private 35m motor yacht,
This is an ASAP start with the ideal candidate joining over the weekend or early next week. They are based in Barcelona, where they will remain throughout the winter to facilitate a sale - The role offers an excellent opportunity for someone seeking a stable role as the crew will move to the owners new vessel
The Role:
- Take charge of the engineering department, including engine room maintenance, preventative schedules, and AV/IT systems.
- Provide support on deck when required, including washdowns, covers, and navigation watches.
- Confidently operate and manage tenders up to 30ft.
What We’re Looking For:
- AEC1/2 in hand .
- Previous engineering experience on yachts of a similar size.
- Strong tender-driving skills.
- EU or UK passport holder (due to location requirements).
- A team player with a relaxed, positive approach who fits into a social crew environment.
Package:
- Salary: €5,000+ DOE
- Leave: 2.5 days per month, but with extra flexibility — most crew receive an additional month off annually.
- Weekends off, relaxed working schedule, supportive owner and crew.
