Summary

We are seeking an Experienced Mate with Engineer skills

Yacht runs with 4 crew. Owners are sailing enthusiasts and assisting when onboard.

Ideal candidate with good sailing experience who can stand a solo watch.

Must hold AEC1 or 2, technical background advantages, will need to be hands on and good at trouble shooting.

 

The yacht is currently in Valencia in the shipyard and start date would be asap. 

Vessel currently changing to commercial to sail charter in 2026 in Med

Owner- family with 2 adult children. English first language prefered.

Essential Qualifications

Entry Level Qualifications (or equivalent)
  • STCW 95 (STCW 2010)
  • ENG 1 (Medical Certificate)
Master/Skipper Qualifications (or Merchant, USCG & AMSA equivalent)
  • RYA Start Yachting
Engineering Qualifications (or Merchant, USCG & AMSA equivalent)
  • MCA Approved Engine Course (AEC 1 & 2) Certificate
