Captain in United States

Summary

We are looking for a Captain & Stew/cook team for an 18m private sail catamaran. The vessel will be launched in November - Currently going through commissioning in Florida

- Itinerary: November to April will be Caribbean cruising (BVI's and surrounding areas); April to May, transport to Florida (schedule repairs and maintenance); June to August will be owner's guest usage in Newport, RI (New England cruising); back to Florida in September

- The yacht will be actively used approximately 18 to 24 weeks a year in weekly increments

- US Flagged vessel

- Shared cabin that has direct access outside and a bath

- Must be legal to work in the US

- Mid to late October start, November latest

- Salary to be discussed at interview process (Captain 6000-7500 USD doe, Stew/Cook 4000-5000 USD)

Essential Qualifications

Entry Level Qualifications (or equivalent)

• STCW 95 (STCW 2010)
• ENG 1 (Medical Certificate)
• Drivers License

Master/Skipper Qualifications (or Merchant, USCG & AMSA equivalent)

• RYA Yachtmaster Offshore
