Summary

Private 41m motor yacht is seeking a 1st Mate to immediately join its crew presently in Palma preparing to depart for a short haul out in Cartagena then returning to Palma. The ideal candidate will hold an OOW (Yachts <3000GT) certificate and is working towards their Chief Mate qualifications. This permanent position involves collaborating closely with the Captain and Engineer and working with the Deck crew during maintenance tasks and ensure the vessel is upheld to its recently refitted standard. The role primarily focuses on maintaining the yacht in a calm, respectful atmosphere, with occasional light cruising. Candidates should possess strong deck maintenance , painting and watchkeeping skills, exhibit a professional team-oriented attitude, and be fluent in English. Previous experience on vessels between 45 to 50m is essential, along with a valid STCW, ENG1, and preferably an Australian, NZ or EU passport with a valid Schengen visa. The crew is a multinational, professional team, and the package includes a salary based on experience and standard MLC conditions.
