Summary
Burgess recruitment is currently seeking a Temp 2nd Engineer for a 50m yacht
We are looking for a temporary engineer to join a great team for 2 weeks in the shipyard. This role will support our regular team by assisting with the increased workload during the yard period
Responsibilities
-Assist with planned maintenance, repairs, and refit work during the shipyard period
-Support the engineering team in troubleshooting and servicing onboard systems
-Work alongside contractors and shipyard personnel as needed
-Ensure compliance with safety and operational procedures
Requirement
-Experience as 3rd Engineer (3E) or 4th Engineer (4E) on motor yacht
-Strong knowledge of yacht engine systems, generators, and auxiliary machinery
-Prior experience working in shipyard environments is a plus
-Ability to work in a fast-paced setting and assist with various engineering tasks
Start date: Immediate
Duration: 2 weeks
Location: Italy
Salary: EUR 250 per day
Vessel in the Shipyard for 2 weeks
