Sole Engineer in Spain

Summary

We are looking for a Shipyard/Winter Engineer for a 25m+ Private S/Y.

-Permanent or Seasonal position to start by the end October in Spain

-Itinerary: Busy Shipyard period in Spain

-AEC1&2 and YM Offshore is essential!

-Candidates should have solid engineering experience on MY or SY during shipyard period.

-Proper, qualified yacht engineer with genuine experience as this is a very busy yard period with lots of work happening onboard.

-Total of 3 mixed nationality crew on board.

-Should be fluent in English.

-Non-smoking vessel.

-Schengen visa and Seamans Discharge Book essential for non-European passport holders.

Salary DOE with a standard MLC SEA.

Essential Qualifications

Entry Level Qualifications (or equivalent)

• STCW 95 (STCW 2010)
• ENG 1 (Medical Certificate)

Master/Skipper Qualifications (or Merchant, USCG & AMSA equivalent)

• RYA Yachtmaster Offshore

Engineering Qualifications (or Merchant, USCG & AMSA equivalent)

• MCA Approved Engine Course (AEC 1 & 2) Certificate
