Summary
We are seeking an experienced, polished, and service-oriented Head of Service to lead the service department onboard a prestigious 100m+ private yacht. This role requires exceptional leadership skills, a proactive mindset, and an unwavering commitment to delivering the highest standards of guest experience. The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of service, manage and train the team, and work closely with other departments to ensure seamless operations. Discretion, flexibility, and the ability to perform under pressure are essential.
Key Responsibilities

Lead all interior service operations, including formal and informal dining, beverage service,
turndown, and daily guest readiness
•
Manage, train, and motivate the service team, ensuring consistency and excellence at all
times
•
Coordinate closely with the galley, housekeeping, and deck teams for flawless guest
experiences
•
Establish, implement, and maintain service standards across all guest-facing areas
•
Oversee inventory management and provisioning for service-related items
•
Uphold discretion and professionalism, particularly with high-profile guests
•
Maintain a polished, calm, and confident demeanor in all guest interactions
Qualifications & Attributes
•
Minimum 5 years’ experience in luxury yachting min 80m+ and high-end hospitality, with at
least 2-3 years in a senior service leadership role
•
Advanced silver service and fine dining expertise
•
Proven track record in leading, training, and developing service teams
•
Meticulous attention to detail and a service-first mindset
•
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and time-management skills
•
Fluent in English
•
Holds or is eligible for a Schengen visa
•
STCW, ENG1, and other standard yachting certifications required
