Deckhand – 50m Mangusta – Florida/Bahamas
A 50m Mangusta (165ft) private yacht is seeking a professional full-time Deckhand to join the program. The vessel is currently in yard period and will remain in maintenance mode until Christmas 2025, with light private guest use in Florida and the Bahamas thereafter. This is a private program with steady use and a balanced schedule, not a heavy charter environment.
Position Details
Start: Immediate (ASAP)
Location: Florida / Bahamas
Contract: Full-time, permanent role
Program: Yard period until Christmas 2025, followed by private cruising in Florida and the Bahamas
Requirements
Minimum 1 year experience on yachts of similar size or larger
Strong skills in washdowns, detailing, line handling, tender driving, and watersports setup
Competent with all aspects of exterior maintenance and safety awareness
Certificates: STCW, ENG1 (valid), PBL2 essential, RYA Yachtmaster preferred
Visa: B1/B2 visa essential
Non-smoker, no visible tattoos, professional presentation
Comfortable in both maintenance/yard environments and light guest service

Capable of working independently during yard period and transitioning smoothly into guest service later
Promotion Prospects

Package
Salary: US $3,500 per month DOE
Leave: 38 days per year
