Summary
A 40m private/charter motor yacht is seeking a Sole Engineer to join their professional team.
- This dual season vessel runs an active program and requires a candidate who is reliable, self-motivated, and capable of maintaining all engineering systems to the highest standard.
- Oversee the safe and efficient operation of all engineering, mechanical, electrical, and AV/IT systems
- Carry out planned and preventative maintenance in line with manufacturer and regulatory requirements
- Maintain detailed records, including compliance with ISM and class requirements
- Manage spare parts, inventory, budgets, and liaise with contractors and shipyards as required
- Ensure minimal downtime of systems during busy charter operations
- Y3 CoC
- Previous experience as Sole Engineer on a vessel of similar size
- Strong technical knowledge across mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
- Familiarity with AV/IT systems and maintenance software preferred
- Package of $10,000 with 35 days leave is on offer
