Summary
TEMP 2ND OFFICER - 75M MY:
We are seeking an experienced 2nd Officer to join a 75m private/charter MY at the end of a shipyard period, just ahead of the vessel’s Atlantic crossing to the Caribbean.
During this period, the current Bosun will be preparing to step up into the 2nd Officer role, so we are looking for someone who can support that development and share knowledge.
- Contract dates: 27th October until approx. 20th December
- Day Rate: DOE (paid in USD)
Key responsibilities:
- Assist with mentoring the bosun as they transition into a bridge role
- Carry out full 2nd Officer duties, including; watchkeeping, LSA/FFE checks, and guest operations.
- Contribute proactively during a busy Caribbean season, with multiple guest trips scheduled
Candidate requirements:
- OOW 3000gt
- Several years of experience in the 2nd Officer role
- B1B2 visa is essential
- Open to male and female candidates
