Sole Engineer in United States

Summary

We are currently searching for a Sole Engineer for a 45m+ private/charter M/Y. There are two options available for this position: Time for time rotation or full-time.

Light charter use. Heavy owner use during summer (day trips/regattas/standby). A great boat and nice program. They usually spend winters in the Bahamas and summers in New England / Maine. Vessel is connected to a sailing program so they attend the classic regattas. Great captains and crew.

Ideal candidate:

• Y4 minimum but Y3 preferred

• Male (due to cabin arrangements)

• Exp with IDEA planned maintenance program is an advantage

• B1B2 in hand essential

• All certificates up to date

Salary package: $6,000 (time for time) or $8,000 (60 days leave)

Leave: time for time or 60 days leave / 2 return flights / Christmas bonus at owners discretion

Start date: 1st of October

Essential Qualifications

Entry Level Qualifications (or equivalent)

• STCW 95 (STCW 2010)
• ENG 1 (Medical Certificate)

Engineering Qualifications (or Merchant, USCG & AMSA equivalent)

• RIII/3 Y4 Chief Engineer (<200gt <1500kW)/ EOOW III/1 (SV) (<3000gt <9000kW)
