First Mate – Sailing Yacht (35m+)
We are looking for a strong First Mate ready to step up on board a busy performance sailing yacht with a global cruising and regatta program. The vessel runs with a close-knit crew and offers a supportive, team-focused environment.
Start Date: Beginning of October
The Ideal Candidate:
- Solid large sailing yacht experience (not motor yachts)
- Confident with sail handling (captive/in-boom furling)
- Strong leadership presence with the ability to teach and lead on deck
- Watchkeeping experience essential
- Bonus: regatta/racing background and diving qualifications
Requirements:
- Yachtmaster Ocean preferred or OOW
- PADI Open Water minimum (Rescue Diver a plus)
- Prior sailing yacht experience is a must
- Schengen & B1/B2 visa in hand
Package:
- Competitive salary (DOE, from €6,000+)
