Summary

Seeking an Experienced Second Engineer for a 56-metre private motor yacht.

Second Engineer/AV/IT Position

56m private motor yacht

Rotational position starting in October

Seeking candidates with AV/IT experience required, shore support available

Familiar with VSAT, Pepwave, Cisco, Kerio, Crestron, Apple devices and computers

Strong engineering and work ethic

Basic electrical systems knowledge

Must be able to work unsupervised to a high standard

Shipyard and dry dock experience preferred

Familiar with MTU main engines

Familiar with Northern Lights generators preferred but not compulsory

EOOW commercial certificate preferred as minimum, together with commercial experience

Seaman’s Discharge Book mandatory

Contract: Rotational (10 Weeks On : 10 Weeks Off)

Experience: 5 Years+

Salary: 6000EUR

Essential Qualifications

Entry Level Qualifications (or equivalent)

• STCW 95 (STCW 2010)
• ENG 1 (Medical Certificate)

Engineering Qualifications (or Merchant, USCG & AMSA equivalent)

• RIII/3 Y4 Chief Engineer (<200gt <1500kW)/ EOOW III/1 (SV) (<3000gt <9000kW)
