Summary

Deckhand – 74m Private Superyacht 2013 Build

Start Date: 25th September (or earlier)

M/Y Odessa II, a 74m Marshall Islands-flagged private yacht, is offering an excellent opportunity for a motivated Deckhand to join a crew with strong leadership, healthy budgets, and a positive, active culture.

The Package

  • Itinerary: Dual season – Summers in the Mediterranean, Winters in the Caribbean (Middle east on occasion)
  • Flights: 2 x return flights per year
  • Medical: Excellent full medical coverage
  • Training: Healthy training budget with strong support for professional development and courses
  • Remuneration: DOE + 13th month bonus, with annual reviews
  • Rotation: Currently 5:1, with improvements under active review and likely in the near future

The Program

  • Private use only – Single family
  • Longevity & Stability: Extremely strong leadership team with exceptional longevity and support
  • Crew Culture: Active, sporty, social crew with a great balance of work and play
  • Safety & Welfare: The yacht places a strong emphasis on safety, professionalism, and crew wellbeing

Requirements

  • All certificates and passport must have a minimum of 6 months’ validity
  • Yacht master Offshore/Coastal desirable
  • Ideally 1 year’s yachting experience, but green candidates with extra skills will be considered
  • Carpentry or practical trade skills highly desirable
  • Southern Hemisphere crew preferred, but open to all nationalities
  • A positive, hardworking attitude and willingness to learn
  • An active, team-oriented mindset that fits into a sporty and social crew dynamic
  • A desire to grow within a program that actively invests in crew training and career progression
  • Male candidates purely due to cabin arrangements
  • B1/B2 would be a bonus and/or valid Schengen if required
  • Crew based in the Med will be prioritised
