Description
We are looking for a qualified Chief Officer to join a busy 50m charter motor yacht. The start date is around 10th September 2025 to allow for a handover before a charter begins on 13th September. The package includes salary and leave depending on experience and certification. For reference, the current Chief Officer (Chief Mate 3000) earns USD $7,000 per calendar month. This role offers the chance to work on a professionally managed vessel with a busy charter schedule and a strong crew culture.
Requirements
• Minimum Officer of the Watch (OOW) certification or courses completed and awaiting Notice of Eligibility (NOE)
• Previous commercial charter experience
• Solid knowledge of International Safety Management (ISM) code
• Experience with electronic Planned Maintenance Systems (PMS), SeaHub preferred
• Ability to work confidently on both Bridge and Deck
• Active role working alongside the deck team
• Professional hands-on attitude
• Excellent teamwork skills
