Captain

Summary

We are recruiting an experienced and highly professional Captain to take command of a prestigious 100m+ private motor yacht. The vessel operates to the highest industry standards. This is a unique opportunity for a proven leader with a history of running large yachts privately, with a strong focus on safety, crew management, and discretion.

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience as Captain on 80m+ private yachts
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and crew management skills
• Strong ISM, ISPS, and MLC knowledge
• Experience managing large-scale operations and budgets
• Exceptional navigational and ship-handling skills
• Calm under pressure with a hands-on approach and visible leadership
• Excellent longevity and solid references
• Discreet and professionally presented

Qualifications Required:

• Master Unlimited
• STCW (fully up to date)
• ENG1 (valid)
• Security certifications (SSO, PDSD)
• Excellent knowledge of regulations and flag/state requirements
• B1/B2 visa and Schengen (preferred)

Entry Level Qualifications (or equivalent)

• STCW 95 (STCW 2010)
• ENG 1 (Medical Certificate)
• Drivers License

Master/Skipper Qualifications (or Merchant, USCG & AMSA equivalent)

• Reg II/2 CoC Master (Unlimited) / Class 1

Specialised Security Courses

• Shipboard Safety Officer
• Proficiency as Ship Security Officer (SSO) (A-VI/5)

RYA Qualifications

• RYA Powerboat Level 2
• RYA Personal Watercraft Proficiency (PWC)

Instructor Qualifications

• RYA PWC Instructor (jetski etc)
