Job Overview
We are looking for a talented, adaptable, and calm Chef to join our 45m private sailing yacht for a short but dynamic late summer period. The vessel will be at anchor in Monaco throughout the month, hosting a family of six onboard, with occasional larger lunches for up to 20 people. The atmosphere onboard is warm, professional, and family-oriented, with a crew of seven.
This is an ideal opportunity for a Chef who enjoys Mediterranean cuisine, can work independently, and thrives in a non-ostentatious environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare daily meals for 6 guests, with occasional larger events (up to 20 guests for lunch)
- Provisioning and menu planning with a focus on fresh, seasonal ingredients
- Maintain a clean and organized galley
- Collaborate with crew to ensure smooth service and guest satisfaction
- Respect dietary preferences and cultural sensitivities
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Chef onboard yachts or in high-end hospitality
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work solo in the galley
- Calm, discreet, and professional demeanor
- Understands and can be understood in English
- STCW and Food Hygiene Level 2
What We Offer
- Daily rate: €300
- Full period rate: €6,000 (flat rate for 4–28 September)
